taking the stress out of introducing solid food
The aim of the session is not to tell you what to do but to provide information, tips and ideas for introducing solids to ease any stress or concerns about weaning your baby. We will look at:
what is weaning?
how you can do it – purees, mush and baby-led
what can help and what you can expect
the practical stuff – equipment, mess and keeping it safe
Sessions are about 2 hours long and only £15 – as with all my classes, there will be small groups with plenty of chat, tea and cake too.
You can come along with your baby from 4 months old, so you can prepare for when and how to start introducing solids

antenatal educator, doula, postnatal group leader, baby massage instructor, parent life coach
I am a mum of three and I have worked with expectant and new parents since 2002 and I have taught classes almost weekly since 2005. I am NCT-trained and, due to my knowledge, training and experience, I am able to provide information, support and reassurance for parents on pregnancy, birth, babies and early parenting. My sessions are friendly and informal – not like a classroom – with small groups and 1:1 sessions so you can ask questions and gather all the information you need. In addition to general birth and baby information, I specialise in being parent-focused so I can provide support for specific issues such as anxiety & worries, babyloss, birth debrief and being a parent.
