Amazon Prime – NOW!

Like every other busy working parent, Amazon can be a bit of a life-saver – for gifts, books or random items such as stationery.

Often short of time, I can use Amazon on my phone when I am a work or waiting outside school for the kids – there’s no doubt it can make life a little easier and it has saved my skin when I have forgotten someone’s birthday.

And today I discovered something even better – Amazon Prime Now has expanded to Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland and Durham so us lovely folk in the North East can have an order delivered within a couple of hours!

Amazon Prime members now have access to 15,000 items  which includes groceries and ice-cream, toys, books, baby wipes & nappies, music, perfume, stationery and electronic items – some of which could be delivered to your door within an hour. This makes me a bit giddy with excitement because I can be impatient and it could help me get what I need quickly – you can arrange same-day delivery slots between 8am and midnight 7 days a week.

If you want to try it out for yourself all you need to do is download the Amazon Prime Now app on your phone or tablet. And if you’re not a member of Amazon Prime you can try it for a month for free. It’s got to be worth a go, just to see how quickly your order arrives!

I’m not a fan of traipsing around the shops for hours so, for me, this is pretty perfect when I know what I want and I want it NOW…
