WHAT HELPS & WHAT CAN HINDER – the small things can make a big difference

BIRTH SUPPORT – equipping partners with knowledge and skills for labour and birth

BREATHING TO STAY CALM AND HANDLE ANY PANIC – this can give you more control

INDUCTION, EPIDURAL & CAESAREANS – these can all be a necessary part of labour and birth, it helps to be better prepared, to know what to expect and what your options are

EARLY DAYS WITH YOUR BABY – what to expect, how to look after your baby and to navigate through the first few days and weeks as parents

These sessions are also about getting your head better prepared for birth, about knowing your options, knowing what questions to ask and knowing more about what to expect. It’s about how to stay as calm and comfortable as possible, being able to head off any panic, to feel safe and how your partner can best support you.

Labour is a unique experience for every woman and my antenatal practice is focused on helping you to prepare well.

The Birth & Baby Network

With Janine Rudin – antenatal educator, doula, postnatal group leader, baby massage instructor

As a birth practitioner who is professionally trained to provide antenatal education I run small groups so you can benefit from informal sessions with discussion, a place to ask questions and gain practical knowledge along with greater confidence about giving birth.

These sessions aim to give you the knowledge and skills to prepare for the reality of birth. I have worked with expectant and new parents for 15 years and I am dedicated to providing good support and reassurance and to focus on your individual needs.

I provide ongoing support after the course has finished and when your baby is here at The Birth & Baby Family Centre.

Here’s what parents say as well as information about my training and experience
