This is now a place for information and conversation about all things family as well as pregnancy, birth and babies. So there will be more articles, thoughts and comment about having older kids, about the different parenting challenges and about us, the people behind being a parent.

Professionally I provide support for parents from pregnancy and throughout life with their young family but I want this to be a place where the support is extended as the kids grow, as we juggle work, life, health and as we get older. And as the mum of older kids I get to offload about life as a gin-drinking-fat- fortysomething-with-two-teenagers-and-a-house-full-of-hormones. Crikey, aren’t you lucky?

But I can’t do this on my own because I want this site to continue to be about different parent voices – so let me have your words/photos to sum up life as a parent, they can also be anonymous if you would prefer. Contributions can be about the highs and the lows of being a parent to kids of any age, you can be a mum, dad grandparent, aunt or uncle. I’m also after contributions from kids about being kids and teenagers.

If you have any questions, send me a message.
