If you need a confidence boost or some additional support to help get your head in the right place, a Birth Pep Talk is for you.
I am now offering this Birth & Baby service after speaking to a few pregnant women who have attended antenatal classes and had felt prepared and ready but were now having a wobble.
A Birth Pep Talk can be useful if you are approaching your due date, induction date or Caesarean date and some panic/anxiety/fear/doubt is setting in or you are having a crisis of confidence about your ability to birth or to cope with the birth of your baby.
As an antenatal teacher and doula, I have helped hundreds of parents prepare for the birth of their baby. I am on hand to help boost your confidence, deal with any fear or doubt and to help you feel as prepared and ready as possible…

As an experienced antenatal teacher, I specialise in running sessions with small groups of parents across Tyneside so the sessions are informal, friendly and supportive.
I have provided antenatal classes and workshops across Tyneside since 2002. I possess a Diploma in Antenatal Education and, to extend my support to new parents, I later gained a Diploma in Postnatal Education, in addition to becoming an Infant Massage Instructor. I am also a birth and postnatal doula, providing practical support and reassurance to expectant and new parents across Tyneside.
As a mother of three, I understand the excitement and concerns of being pregnant, giving birth and becoming a parent and my work reflects this. I am passionate about supporting expectant and new parents – I keep it simple and I listen, inform and support without judgement so you are better able to tackle birth and everything parenthood throws at you.
