Mouth of Tyne Festival – Early Years Area

Mouth of Tyne Festival - Early Years Area

The Mouth of Tyne Festival – Early Years Area runs this weekend (July 7 & 8) at Tynemouth Station from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

It is a free event for families with lots of activities throughout the day…

I run The Nest, which is a relaxing space for parents with babies and toddlers to change nappies, feed, read books, just sit back and relax.

The Shed has loads of craft with the House of Objects and brilliant photography fun with the Fantasy Photo Booth.

The Treehouse has a full timetable of different activities throughout both days with music, dance, movement, play and acrobatics.

There will also be The Bubble Whisperer with monster sized bubbles to pop, chase and gaze at and Wildlife Stalls with information and activities about some of our local creatures and wildlife.

The Early Years Area is organised by the brilliant Bared Toes Dance Company, who will be performing and running workshops during the weekend.
