Our top 5 toddler books

early2013 125

I love books, always have, so they have featured prominently in my time with my girls. They are 9 and 11 now and they are currently reading Horrid Henry and Twilight with no input and cuddles from me “mam, this is my time to relax on my own…”

I miss storytime at night but I am equally as happy that they like books and read them to relax, lose themselves in a story and to switch off.

When I think of our favourite books when the girls were toddlers and preschoolers, I am immediate taken back to bedtime snuggles and cuddles and chats and giggles. Here’s our top five:

foot book

smartest giant

Gruffalo

broom

giraffe
