It is important to me to be able to provide parent support beyond group sessions for parents who want to be able to focus on specific parenting issues, on themselves as a parent or as the person behind the parent.
These sessions are for parents from pregnancy and throughout life with children as they grow and the challenges change.
These sessions are private and confidential and they are a chance for you to focus on your own needs for information, support, reassurance, to be listened to, for some headspace, to plan and to develop coping strategies. One-to-one sessions can also provide you with practical relaxation skills to handle every day stress, anxiety and panic.
As a mother of three I understand the demands and challenges of being a parent – there are times when we need information and there are times when we need support and time to get our heads around being a parent, the guilt, the juggling and the need to get it right. We can often feel like we are getting it wrong or that we are failing, especially when we compare ourselves to other parents.
