As we all know, babies come without an instruction book and it is all about getting to know your baby, trusting your instincts and riding the challenges as they shift.
I am a mum of three and I have worked with parents since 2002: I know parents and I know babies – the range of differences, the similarities, the range of what’s normal and what mums need. As an experienced practitioner, I don’t have an agenda and I don’t tell parents what they ‘should’ be doing – my role is to support you with good information, reassurance and an experienced perspective so you can deal with any challenges and make the best decisions for you and your baby.
My sessions are for parents – even when babies and toddlers come to play – Birth, Baby & Family is all about being listening to and reassured and providing you with a safe, comfortable space to visit.
My sessions for parents…
The Mum Session: a drop-in session for mums who are in need of bit more support because of exhaustion, low mood, anxiety or isolation.
The Baby Session: A relaxing group for mums with babies – conversation, friendships, offloading, support and reassurance for all things baby and being a mum.
Family Café: A drop-in session for parents and grandparents with babies, toddlers and preschoolers – conversation, play, activities, sensory den, pots of tea, cake and fresh coffee plus information, support and reassurance when you need it.
Baby Massage: A relaxing way to round off the week, this is a lovely Friday afternoon of massage, tea, cake and conversation.
Weaning Workshop: Practical information and ideas to take the stress out of introducing solid food.
1:1 Parent Support: For birth debrief, for parenting issues, for being a parent and for you to focus on you.
I am a small practice and I run small groups for mums to be supported – to make friends, to have some conversation, to have a laugh, to offload or just to feel reassured on a bad day.
Just send me a message me if you have any queries.
